Cheers to the better men!!

Well, let’s talk about a not so talked event, International Men’s day. My feminist friends were like whaaaa?? The whole world is dominated by patriarchy. Why do we need one more day to rub it in our face? You may also fall in a category who is unable to digest why we need a “men’s day”. In that case, let me enlighten you.

Men’s day is celebrated not to reinforce patriarchy roots to protect it from the storm created by movement on the lines of gender equality, Me Too and the likes. Men’s day remarks the change created by the “Better Men ‘’. Men who are breaking out from the gender stereotypes and making positive change in their environment. Men who are sensitive (you heard me right) enough to appreciate the ingrained problems both the sexes face due to gender disparity. Men who stand up for what is right, even if it means stepping aside to share space, power and credit with women.

To all those men who associate with all the qualities I mentioned above, hats-off to you. To those who don’t, “Grow Up” and be a man.
